At Simba International School, we believe that leadership skills are essential for success in the 21st century. We provide numerous opportunities for students to develop and practice leadership through formal roles, student-led initiatives, and everyday classroom experiences.
Leadership Opportunities
Student Council
Elected representatives who serve as the voice of the student body, organize events, and work with school administration to enhance student life.

House Captains
Leaders who foster house spirit, organize house events, and motivate their peers in inter-house competitions.

Prefects
Senior students who assist with school operations, serve as role models, and support younger students.

Club & Team Leaders
Students who lead specific clubs, activities, or sports teams, developing organizational and management skills.

Peer Mentors
Trained students who provide academic and social support to younger students or new students.

Leadership Development
We support student leaders through structured training and ongoing mentorship:
- Leadership Training: Annual leadership retreat and regular workshops on communication, organization, conflict resolution, and project management
- Mentorship: Each student leader is paired with a staff mentor who provides guidance and support
- Reflection: Regular reflection sessions to process experiences and identify areas for growth
- Recognition: Acknowledgment of leadership contributions through awards and certificates
Student-Led Initiatives
We encourage students to identify needs and create solutions through student-led initiatives:
